The 10,000-School AV Upgrade Initiative
Capital support for coordinated AV Upgrade Sets in qualified schools, including procurement, installation, commissioning and documentation.
Grants & Institutional Funding
Spaceposium Foundation offers grantmakers a defined capital and programming need, a written scope for every funded project, and reporting based on verified milestones.
Case for support
Educational access to space science is limited less by curiosity than by capability. A school can reach world-class scientific imagery, live mission coverage and expert speakers at almost no marginal cost—if it has a shared space where several hundred students can actually see and hear the material. Many do not.
Spaceposium Foundation addresses that specific constraint. Each funded project is one coordinated AV Upgrade Set serving a shared school space, defined by a written scope before any money is committed. Grantmakers therefore fund a discrete, verifiable unit of work: a named room, an approved scope, a completed installation, delivered orientation and documented use.
Because the Foundation reports only on completed and verified work, funders can evaluate performance against installations and delivered programming rather than estimated reach.
Funding priorities
Capital support for coordinated AV Upgrade Sets in qualified schools, including procurement, installation, commissioning and documentation.
Development and delivery of shared live sessions and scheduled programming that equipped schools can join.
Free learning resources, educator supports and structured technical exposure that connects space science to practical career skills.
Production of educational media and the measurement infrastructure required to report verified outcomes to funders.
Grant to activation
Schools reach out directly, or are identified through educators, districts and community supporters who see an unmet need in a shared learning space.
The Foundation reviews the room, existing infrastructure, technical readiness, local administrative approval and program fit before any commitment is made.
A written scope defines the coordinated AV Upgrade Set for that specific room. Grant or donor funding is then matched to that approved scope.
Procurement and installation are carried out with qualified providers, followed by commissioning, testing and written documentation of what was delivered.
Staff receive practical orientation so the system is used confidently for instruction, assemblies, live programming and student production.
The Foundation reports what has actually been completed and verified. Reach numbers are never estimated, projected or rounded upward.
