After your gift
Receipts and acknowledgement.
Every completed gift receives a written acknowledgement from Spaceposium Foundation, Inc. containing the Foundation’s legal name, EIN, the date and amount of the gift, and a statement of whether any goods or services were provided in exchange. Keep that acknowledgement for your tax records.
If you selected a program preference when giving, that preference is recorded and used to guide how your gift is applied within the Foundation’s charitable purposes. Gifts are never transferred to Spaceposium, Inc. or applied to commercial activity.
After a completed online gift, PayPal emails its own transaction confirmation to the email address used at checkout. That confirmation is separate from the Foundation’s written acknowledgement, which is issued by the Foundation. For questions about receipts or acknowledgement, contact giving@spaceposium.org.
